Task Bar Hero v1.01.00 Balance Update
v1.01.00 is the most important live balance update since launch. It improves Hunter and Slayer damage tempo, adjusts Knight and Priest passives, raises the Armor-based physical damage reduction cap for melee heroes, reduces ranged-monster damage, and reopens Market trading for Celestial, Divine, and Cosmic items.

This is an unofficial player-facing summary of the official Higher-Grade Item Trading Resumed & Balance Update [Ver 1.01.00], checked on July 29, 2026. It does not claim that a new hero or class was added.
What Changed?
- Knight's 40-point HP regeneration passive changed from +1 to +2 per second; its 60-point Elemental Resistance value was corrected from 30% to 5%, and its 70-point passive changed from Attack Damage +1 to Max HP +30.
- Priest's 50-point Elemental Resistance value was corrected from 20% to 4%, and base Movement Speed increased from 700 to 770.
- Hunter gained stronger 50-point Attack Damage and 70-point Attack Speed passives, faster Explosive Bolt and Shock Bolt activation, much higher Shock Bolt damage scaling, and base Movement Speed increased from 750 to 850.
- Slayer gained more Max HP at levels 30 and 60, more Movement Speed at level 60, faster Crushing Blow and Ground Slam activation, and base Movement Speed increased from 850 to 900.
- Armor-based physical damage reduction for Knight, Priest, and Slayer can now reach 85% instead of 75%.
- All ranged physical monsters deal 25% less attack damage, while all ranged elemental monsters deal 40% less attack damage.
- Celestial, Divine, and Cosmic materials and equipment can now be traded on the Steam Market.
Player Impact
- Hunter deserves a fresh boss and ranged-DPS test instead of being judged by pre-v1.01.00 tier lists.
- Slayer reaches targets faster and activates its main melee skills sooner, making it a stronger option when gear and sustain are ready.
- Knight and Priest remain defensive choices, but old resistance values and the previous 75% melee Armor cap are no longer current.
- Ranger and Sorcerer were not directly buffed in this patch, so their existing farming value remains a baseline rather than proof that the overall meta is unchanged.
- High-grade ownership and Market listing are still separate checks, but grade alone is no longer the temporary blocker for Celestial, Divine, or Cosmic items.
What To Do Now
- Update to v1.01.00 or later before comparing hero performance or Market availability.
- Re-test Hunter's Shock Bolt and Explosive Bolt timing, especially for bosses and dangerous ranged waves.
- Re-test Slayer on stages where melee travel time or skill activation previously caused failed clears.
- Review old Knight and Priest resistance plans before spending rare materials.
- Check current item state, listing slots, cooldowns, Steam inventory, and Trade Ship eligibility before listing high-grade gear.
