Task Bar Hero Level 1-100 Progression Build Guide

A useful progression build changes as the account changes. Early levels need unlocked systems and filled equipment slots; Nightmare needs survival and resistance; late Hell and Torment reward speed, focused damage, and specialized farming.
This route uses Priest, Sorcerer, and Ranger because it gives one support/frontline and two complementary damage sources without requiring paid Hunter or Slayer DLC.
Milestone Plan
| Level | Main objective | Build action |
|---|---|---|
| 1–20 | Unlock the party and second skills | Rush Rune of Command and Rune of Awakening; use Heal + Blessing, Fireball + Lightning, Rapid Fire + Arrow Rain. |
| 21–40 | Stabilize Normal progression | Add Sanctuary, Flame Hydra, Swift Surge; build Priest defense, Sorcerer cooldown, Ranger attack speed. |
| 41–60 | Prepare for Nightmare walls | Reach stronger cooldown and resistance layers; introduce Life Leech; stop upgrading replaceable low-level gear. |
| 61–80 | Specialize damage roles | Sorcerer moves toward Lightning/AoE; Ranger moves toward Piercing Arrow and high attack speed; Priest becomes tank/support. |
| 81–100 | Optimize Hell/Torment farming | Compare full-party, ranged-party, and Solo Ranger routes; tune clear time instead of raising every stat equally. |
Priest Progression
Start with Heal + Blessing of Might. Around level 30, when cooldown reduction and defense make the longer cycle reliable, test Sanctuary in place of Heal. Later, Wrath of Heaven can be tested with Life Leech, but do not copy old routes that depended on pre-v1.00.15 abnormal damage or buff stacking.
Priority: HP and damage absorption first, then cooldown reduction, armor, elemental or Chaos resistance, HP regeneration, and movement speed. Priest's job is to survive the dangerous window and keep the damage dealers active.
Sorcerer Progression
Use Fireball + Lightning early. At level 21, Flame Hydra is a practical single-target supplement while Fireball clears groups. Around level 51+, a Lightning-focused route becomes more attractive when cooldown reduction is high enough to cast frequently. At endgame, AoE is valuable only while the spell still kills the intended wave.
Priority: attack damage, cooldown reduction, the element matching the active skill, cast speed, AoE, and enough HP or Life Leech to avoid one-shot failures.
Ranger Progression
Use Rapid Fire + Arrow Rain early, then test Swift Surge for stronger single-target pressure. At higher attack speed, Piercing Arrow becomes useful for repeated wave clearing. Ranger can later switch into a solo route, but the rest of the party still needs levels for Act Bosses and future balance changes.
Priority: physical damage, attack speed, movement speed, critical stats, and a small Life Leech/HP layer when required.
Cube and Material Rules
- Use Synthesis early to fill empty or severely underleveled equipment slots.
- Use Alchemy when gold is the real blocker for essential Rune Tree unlocks.
- Feed the Cube equipment close to its level; a Cube far behind the hero makes later progression expensive.
- Save useful Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, Emerald, Amethyst, resistance, attack-speed, cooldown, and jewelry materials.
- Keep strong Legendary, Immortal, and Arcana pieces until you understand whether their roll serves a build.
- Do not spend rare materials only to improve an item that the next level band will immediately replace.
Choose the Next Upgrade by the Failure
If the party dies before acting, improve survival or movement. If enemies live with low HP, improve damage. If skills arrive too late, improve cooldown or attack/cast speed. If the stage clears but farming is slow, measure wave count and movement instead of adding more tank stats.
Use the Nightmare 3-6 to 3-9 F2P Guide for the first major wall and the Torment 3-9 Speed Farm Build after the account reaches endgame.
