Task Bar Hero 3-10 Boss Guide: Normal to Torment

Stage 3-10 is the Archon Morkar boss stage on Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and Torment. The current site database identifies it as a ranged Chaos attacker. Use that profile to choose equipment and formation, but confirm the live status panel because the July 30 hotfix changed how some 3-10 boss skills deal damage.
Important current-client warning: the developer fixed an issue where some Stage 3-10 boss skills intermittently failed to damage heroes. A clear recorded before that hotfix can make an old build look safer than it is now.
Recommended Party by Problem
| Failure | First party to test | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Frontline dies before damage starts | Knight + Priest + Ranger | No-DLC baseline with a clear tank, sustain, and safe damage role. |
| Boss survives while the party remains stable | Knight + Priest + Hunter | Hunter's v1.01.00 skill activation and Shock Bolt scaling improve focused pressure. |
| Physical melee gear is much stronger | Knight + Priest + Slayer | Slayer gained HP, movement, and faster skill activation in v1.01.00. |
| Waves are safe but the attempt is too slow | Priest + Ranger + Sorcerer | Adds faster wave handling, but should be abandoned if the boss deletes the frontline. |
| Solo Ranger reached the stage | Ranger, then compare a full party | Keep Solo Ranger only if it survives the corrected boss damage consistently. |
These are testing baselines, not guaranteed clears. Equipment, Rune Tree progress, skill levels, and difficulty scaling can change the result.
Pre-Fight Checklist
- Update the client and restart before comparing an old 3-10 result.
- Confirm all party members revive and remain deployed after a restart; v1.01.01 fixed party revival problems.
- Check HP, healing, and Chaos-facing resistance or mitigation shown in the current status panel.
- Equip focused damage if the boss survives; do not keep a pure farming setup for a single-target wall.
- Preserve useful high-rarity gear instead of forcing a risky Cube operation for one attempt.
- Record which hero dies first and whether failure happens before or after the party begins using skills.
Difficulty Progression
| Difficulty | Main goal | Pass condition |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Learn the corrected damage pattern and identify the first weak role. | Clear more than once without relying on a missing-damage attempt. |
| Nightmare | Keep the same formation stable as incoming pressure rises. | The same five-run test has no repeated early collapse. |
| Hell | Replace speed-farm choices with boss sustain and focused pressure. | Hell 3-10 clears after the party also handles the 3-9 approach reliably. |
| Torment | Remove luck, revive dependence, and one-attempt-only setups. | Multiple current-client clears show the formation is repeatable. |
Do not copy an exact HP, resistance, or damage threshold from an older video. The useful threshold is the current point where your frontline survives long enough for healing and focused skills to cycle.
Diagnose the Failed Attempt
| What you see | Likely bottleneck | Next change |
|---|---|---|
| Knight or Priest disappears immediately | Survival or mitigation | Add HP, armor where relevant, Chaos-facing resistance, healing uptime, or a safer formation. |
| Everyone survives but the boss remains | Single-target damage | Test Hunter, improve the main weapon, or replace unnecessary wave-clear investment. |
| One backline hero dies first | Positioning or insufficient protection | Re-order the party and stop treating the safest farming formation as a boss formation. |
| Party member does not return correctly | Client or revival state | Update and restart; v1.01.01 addressed revival and party-removal bugs. |
| Result changes wildly between runs | Luck or unstable timing | Run five attempts and compare the median result instead of the best clear. |
| Chest or reward looks missing after the clear | Recovery display or Mailbox | Restart once and check Mailbox before repeating the boss or claim action. |
Normal and Nightmare Route
Use Normal to learn which role fails, not to prove an endgame build. If Knight survives but the timer or boss HP is the problem, keep Priest and replace the least useful farming slot with focused damage.
On Nightmare, keep the same build for five attempts. If only one attempt clears, the route is not ready. Return to a stable farming stage and improve the exact bottleneck rather than changing every item at once.
Hell and Torment Route
Hell players should separate the 3-9 approach from the 3-10 boss setup. A fast 3-9 party can still be the wrong team for Archon Morkar. Use the Hell 3-9 and 3-10 checklist for the approach, then switch to the focused boss party here.
For Torment, require repeatability before spending high-value materials. Community discussions also mention a two-player Torment 3-10 objective. Treat that as community-reported and confirm the exact achievement text in the current client before claiming a requirement or reward.
After the Clear
If the Act Boss Chest reward or a server action appears missing, do not repeat it immediately. The July 30 hotfix added correct recovery-result display for Act Boss Chest rewards. Restart once, inspect the popup and Mailbox quantities, then use the Chest and Mailbox guide.
